Non Pivot Riser Block FAQs
Q: What is the tallest Riser Block I can install on my snowmobile without any modifications?
A: Almost all snowmobiles will accept a 2 inch Riser Block without having to modify the throttle cable or brake line.
Q: How do I know what is the tallest Riser Block I can install on my snowmobile?
A: The easiest and fastest way is to disconnect your handlebar clamp, lift your complete handlebar assembly and measure the distance between the handlebars and the steering plate. This takes about 15 minutes.
Q: Are there any tricks to getting more height out of my handlebar assembly?
A: You can usually gain more slack in your wiring, brake line or throttle cable by rerouting them. The throttle cable is usually the first thing to cause problems, but PowerMadd sells a Throttle Extension Kit that is quick and easy to install. If your brake line is too short, look at buying a brake line from a different model of the same brand of snowmobile, like a mountain model which comes with taller handle bars.
